Michael Schiavo to tell his side of the story in book

RN Ford Comments: The article reads ....
"Brian Schiavo said the book will be his brother's "opportunity to talk and explain the real truth of what happened."

The REAL truth? What Brian Schiavo fails to recognize is the only person who could have told the REAL truth about her UNEXPLAINED collapse in 1990, Michael Schiavo made certain to have eliminated. Michael Schiavo NEVER provided Terri with the opportunity to tell HER side of the story, or HER wishes. How typical of Michael Schiavo to think society would share in his ignorance. The TRUTH is what the WORLD witnessed on national television on March 31, 2005, when he inhumanely dehydrated and starved an innocent brain injured, but otherwise HEALTHY human being to her death!

* People have NOT forgotten the TRUTH Michael and Brian Schiavo! *

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - Vietnam veteran Michael Hirsh, who has written three books about the military, is co-authoring a book with Michael Schiavo to tell his side of the story in the end-of-life case that divided much of the country.

Schiavo's wife Terri suffered a brain injury in 1990 that left her in what some doctors called "a persistent vegetative state." She died earlier this year after a bitter court battle between her husband and her parents.

Hirsh, 62, expects the 280-page book, "Terri: the Truth," to be available just before the first anniversary of Terri's death. Dutton Publishing publicity manager Jean Anne Rose confirmed that the company is publishing the book in March.

Michael Schiavo's decision to remove a feeding tube that kept his brain-damaged wife alive alienated him from her parents, drew a Congressional intervention and even prompted criticism from President Bush.

But it was Gov. Jeb Bush's order in June for an investigation of whether Schiavo delayed calling 911 when his wife collapsed that motivated Hirsh to become involved.

"There are people who did or said unconscionable things about him, and they started with the president of the United States and worked their way down," said Hirsh, a former Los Angeles television producer.

Brian Schiavo said the book will be his brother's "opportunity to talk and explain the real truth of what happened."
