Barricades around the hospice where Terri Schiavo lives

Video Story

The city says that public sidewalks and streets have been blocked by protesters as grade school children are trying to get home.

Some of the protesters say the city and the hospice are just trying to limit where and how people can protest while others told us they think it’s a pretty good idea.

The city says as many as two to three thousand people may attend vigils this week in front of the hospice.

Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube will be removed at 1:00pm on Friday unless there is another stay from the courts.

Both sides have legal motions pending before the second district court of appeals that could affect the outcome of this case this week.
