To all it may concern,

It seems to me, that this ongoing fight is what the backlash of what will happen if Terri was to the feeding tube put back in. In reality, there should not even be any, are we not innocent until proven guilty? By this I mean, if we would give the benefit of the doubt to both parties involved, since so much lack of evidence evidently lacks, then there has been concrete facts by the Medical Pros that, Terri could likely be helped, and has had no previous facts to show that she did. Since Michael, her husband stands so firmly to hold up a promise made to her, so long ago, and would like us to believe that he is truly doing this for her own good, then if Michael has absolutely nothing to hide, then why would he not want to send precidence to a matter that is indeed going to come up again and again? If he is proven right, by letting Terri be examined and done what should be done to any human being, letting the experts do what must be done, etc,,, and if Michael feels so firm to hold to his decision, then would he be willing to do as he is doing to one of his children, or his new wife? There are many things that I would do if I were Michael to prove that I am most certainly doing this for it is truly what I believe should be done, and that involves even taking a lie detector test if need be. I would certainly do all of what is needed to make sure that there is not even the slightest chance that as some very smart young children are saying, that "what about the concept that she is not as bad as Michael thought and Terri has changed her mind?" Out of the mouth of babes! Bless the little ones, for they understand more than we think, and when they become afraid that they will have to go through this when they are older, how far does it have to go, before it really gets out of hand. It all seems that there is so much that has been hidden, but then if this is all suppose to be about a promise made to a wife, which should of been made out of love and nothing else, then what is the problem? To give time for the experts to re-evalute the status of Terri's health, what is the problem, everyone gains, especially Terri, if all is done above board? This should not affect Michael at all,if there is some love for Terri as a human being, should it? May God have Mercy on the decision makers, for what started off as a verbal agreement, that none of us were there to hear, also to go on and on for all of these years, this is really what is the tradgedy. If everyone would stop to think for just a moment "what if it were myself", really think, hard, would there not be a "what if" in the back of your mind, on behalf of a woman who cannot speak for herself, but nonetheless, alive and letting everyone know she wants to stay that way. I pray each and everyday that the right decision is made, for those who make the laws, the medical profession, so many involved but none so involved as the parents who gave her life in the first place, her mom and dad. I urge you to not delay, for it is very, very painful to die the way that has been done to her several times now, one has to give her great credit and merits for being the best patient, that I've ever heard of. It is heart wrenching.

Thank You.

Terri deserves the rest and peace that comes from a dignified death. It is time for the Schindlers to relinquish their useless quest to prolong biological functions of a body whose occupying "spirit" was destroyed years ago.

Leave the feeding tube and all the paraphernalia where it belongs -- in the corner -- and leave Terri in peace as her body's chemistry gently slows to a stop.

And most of all, don't let the slimy, unethical Tom DeLay jump aboard and make a political issue here so that he can avoid the inevitable House ethics processes which will ultimately expel him from the House for accepting foreign travel from two (2) registered foreign agents in direct contradiction of Federal law.

Yahoo Boasts Size of Its Search Engine Index

Trying not to include any phallic analogies, Yahoo this week announced that its overall search engine index is much larger than Google’s and is the most in depth index of ‘web objects’ on the search market. On the Yahoo Search Blog, Yahoo disclosed that its index now includes 19.2 billion web documents, 1.6 billion images and more than 50 million audio and video files - over 20 billion items.

Yahoo is usually shy about disclosing the size of its search index, but the Yahoo Search Blog is celebrating its first year anniversary and Tim Mayer thought that somewhat of a retrospect was in order - since Yahoo has grown into its own as a search engine powerhouse over the past 365 days.

From the YSearchBlog : While we typically don’t disclose size (since we’ve always said that size is only one dimension of the quality of a search engine), for those who are curious this update includes just over 19.2 billion web documents, 1.6 billion images, and over 50 million audio and video files.

Note that as with all index updates we are still tuning things so you’ll continue to see some fluctuation in ranking over the next few weeks.

Greg Sterling of the Kelsey Group, however, makes the distinction of quality over quantity What I, Joseph User, care about is accuracy, quality and relevance. The available index does matter in terms of bringing me a sufficient quantity of results. (And if I’m looking for something really obscure, having that thing in the index is obviously important, which may go to size.).

But there’s a major case of diminishing returns—there’s already way too much information online for people to assimilate. Throwing more volume at me does nothing but make my eyes glaze over. What I want is enough relevant results.”

Index schmindex, the moral of the story is what Yahoo has accomplished over the past year and what the next 12 months will bring with not only Yahoo Search, but the Yahoo Publishers Network, Yahoo LinkSpots, Yahoo Pay Per Call, and Site Explorer. What has Yahoo accomplished over the past year? Well, here’s Tim’s rundown :
